See, What had happened was...

I HAVEN’T GOT THE SLIGHTEST IDEA WHAT LOVE IS!

I use to feel I was missing out on some amazing world of relationships but the truth is I don’t think i’ll ever be that person…..at least not anytime soon!

Don’t get me wrong. I enjoy kissing, cuddling, and being with my boyfriend just as much as y’all but I think i’m a bit to realistic to believe he can do no wrong….and thats why I can’t walk around like it’s all sunshine and rainbows.

I hear you I hear you….maybe I’m not in the RIGHT relationship yet. I’m open to that idea. But we all know when your laid up with one dude its hard to imagine anything else.

MY POINT IS….maybe Love really isn’t the same for everyone and maybe it’s time some of us accept that and appreciate the people around us.

What a way to come back from Hiatus I know…..but i’ve been wrestling with this….. AGAIN  SOMETIMES I THINK THIS SHOULDN’T BE SO HARD.

BUT ANYTHING WORTH HAVING IS WORTH FIGHTING FOR……..right?

We’re back at school all settled in and whatnot.  Before I get into this post I’d like to apologize for the additional contributors of this blog. You all probably didn’t even know there were others did you? Yeah, they’re slacking, but that’s alright we won’t hold it against them.  Anyway, this post will be in relation to the last post I just wrote titled “Does He…” If you answered “yes” to any of those questions I believe you will be able to relate to this post. Here we go…

In the past few months I have been more of an observer than a participant in the dating world. I’ve observed enough to realize that we as women too often over-think things. We also second guess a lot.  You see, as women, we have a little thing called instinct. BUT, we try to ignore it due to little things called loneliness and desperation.  What am I talking about?

A lot of times, we’ll have a dude who we know is thug and stuff and we’ll make excuses as to why we should be with him and ignore our INSTINCT. YOU KNOW GOOD AND WELL YOU SHOULDN’T BE WITH HIM! If you have to question it, 9 times out of 10, you probably shouldn’t be with him.  

This theory works vice versa.  If you have to search for all his bad qualities, chances are if they aren’t evident he is a decent guy.  What do you mean Cali? I’m saying, I see my friends convince themselves why they should date the wrong dudes and why they shouldn’t date good dudes ALL the time. If he treats you right and with respect, it’s simple, he deserves the chance of day.  To be honest, nice guys really do finish last. If you want a good guy you may need to scoop up a nice guy.

• make you smile in anticipation just thinking about what he might say next
• make you laugh hysterically at the smallest thing, when really it wasn’t that funny
• make you sit in class day-dreaming about simple day-to-day things like the two of you walking down the street holding hands together
• make you wish you could sing
• make you forget about what being tired truly is?

Thought So.

Here’s what I’ve been going through the past few days.

I AM FOREVER HUNGRY!  And you know what? I can’t afford not to be. LOL. Sad times.  Monday I had a corn dog for lunch. A single corn dog….at approximately 3:00.  So I walked around shopping hungry as I don’t know what.  Then for “dinner” I had two small slices of pepperoni pizza without the cheese or pepperoni -_-.  Upon my arrival home there was like no food! The fridge was darn near empty. What’s the point of being home if I can’t get some food! Mannnn! I went to bed, hungry. I woke up at like 4 am hungry! I told myself just go back to sleep and try to forget your famine. 

 Tuesday I had a more substantial meal of chicken, rice, cabbage, and black eyed peas. But NOOOOOOOO. I get a migraine and throw UP! YES my friends! When I finally get a good meal I puke it up! So I’m just lying there til 11 sick as heck until my mother kindly fixes me a single chicken leg and rice. :(

Today. My lunch consisted of an apple at about 3:00. Pray for me friends because I AM SO HUNGRY! Let’s hope I get a good meal today.
